Valid for all versions of Semieta Server, running on a Windows OS
If a controller is not receiving commands, your TX Buffer is anything other than 0 or you need to try and establish a connection to it - an easy to way to confirm this connection is via Windows Command Prompt and the 'Ping' command.
To do this,
- Identify the IP address of the controller in question, eg: Access Control > Controllers
- Copy this IP Address to your clipboard
- Open your Windows icon/Start Menu, and search for 'CMD' or 'Command Prompt':
- Open this and then run the command 'Ping xxx.xxx.x.xxx' (where X is the IP address on your clipboard:
- If the connection can successfully be established, you should see a full packet return:
- If there is packet loss, or an error message in finding the Host, then there might be an issue connecting to the controller via the network.
If so, please raise a ticket with the Semieta Support Team and they can investigate further.
